
Hey there, my name is Nikhil Agarwal. If you have no idea where the channels of the internet have led you, allow me to introduce you to my Fitness Blog, Fitnesscessity. I am a college student who recently went through one of the most life changing body transformations one can go through. This blog is an attempt to explain my ongoing story and inspire others to do the same.
As a bit of background, up until relatively recently, I was severely obese. I was suffering from all the normal symptoms of carrying extra weight around. The drowsiness, the trouble sleeping, breathing, and doing just about anything else. Sports weren’t even an option. Over the span of 9 months, however, I went from a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 37 to a BMI of 25. For those not steeped in the intricacies of BMI, based off of my height, that’s over 70 pounds of weight loss (almost entirely fat!) in the span of 9 months. This dropped me from nearly 35% body fat to around 15%.
With all the formalities out of the way, however, I invite you to stick around for awhile, read some of the articles I’ve written, and by all means, ask me any questions or give me any advice you may have. While I may not be a fitness expert, I have acquired a decent amount of first hand knowledge during my journey. One which is far, far from over.
